Melania Trump announces new POTUS Trump NFT collection

First Lady Melania Trump on Thursday announced a new official POTUS Trump NFT collection that will be launched on Presidents’ Day.

Melania wrote, “I am proud to expand upon my NFT platform and am honored to be able to recognize important moments in our nation’s history.” She added, “I look forward to collaborating with others to offer truly special, authentic parts of U.S. history.”

A press release from the Office of Melania Trump stated, “The POTUS TRUMP NFT Collection, celebrating the Trump Presidency, will launch on USAmemorabilia.com on February 21, 2022, Presidents Day.”

According to the press release, Melania Trump provided “creative direction” for the upcoming NFT collection. Supporters of President Trump will be able to purchase each NFT for $50 through USA Memorabilia.

The press release explains, “The POTUS TRUMP NFT Collection consists of 10 original pieces of digital artwork, highlighting iconic moments from President Trump’s Administration, such as the Fourth of July visit to Mount Rushmore and Christmas at the White House. The limited-edition collection is comprised of 10,000 NFTs and is tiered into platinum and gold levels.”

However, an additional element of surprise will be included in this NFT collection. The release reads, “Collectors will enjoy an element of surprise, as the artwork of each NFT is revealed only after purchase.” It continues, “Of course, collectors can make multiple purchases to own the entire POTUS TRUMP Collection.”

Melania Trump first announced her venture into NFT sales in December, when she launched a collection of NFTs in collaboration with her Be Best initiative. President Trump immediately gave his support to the First Lady’s venture, saying, “Congratulations to my wife, Melania. The launch of Melania’s new NFT business epitomizes our American Spirit of ingenuity, creativity, and entrepreneurship.”

NFTs are considered digital “assets” that use blockchain technology to create a unique collectible that cannot be replicated. Melania’s first NFT was a watercolor painting labeled “Melania’s Vision.” In January, she held an auction that featured “the iconic white hat worn during the French Republic’s State Visit.” At the time, Melania said, “A portion of the proceeds will support children from the foster care community.”

It appears Melania is going to continue to expand her NFT venture with the POTUS Trump collection. Her latest statement says, “As an expansion of Mrs. Trump’s NFT platform, USAmemorabilia.com provides history fans the ability to purchase patriotic-themed collectibles with immutable provenance, permanently recorded on the blockchain.”

Melania’s newest collection of NFTs can be purchased starting on Feb. 21, giving patriotic Americans the opportunity to celebrate Presidents’ Day with the launch of a historical NFT collection of the 45th president.
